SIVA UPDATE 12/30-1/5

Aloha and Happy New Year SIVA Ohana -

As I reflect on the year, I am beyond grateful for those who have entered my life and given me purpose for continuing this volleyball journey. It is always a good day when I wake up, and a better day when I am in the gym sharing my passion and love for this sport. I know the SIVA coaching staff feels the same way as well.

Cheers to the start of a New Year!

• SIVA GYM

    o The gym is slowly coming together and hope to begin practicing by the end of next week. We were expecting to have the floor down last week, but the container company’s truck was out of commission. They promised to have the container to us on Thursday and we will have the floors laid by early afternoon. Going to be working on getting the court lines down as well.

    o Comcast will be coming in on Thursday as well to install WiFi because my cellphone signal is non-existent in the building.

    o Will be drilling holes for the main court on Friday, but they will not be ready for the poles and nets until Monday.

• MEDIA DAY

    o I am unsure if I mentioned it previously; Saturday, January 4th will be our SIVA Media Day at the SIVA Gym (16353 S Walnut Street, Burlington, WA) with Lauryn Halley (Moments Of Moxie). She will be available from 9a-4p. Here are the teams and time block. (This is not mandatory but could be fun and memorable).

    o SIVA 12 NORTH AND SOUTH, we will schedule another date after you receive your uniforms for a photo shoot.

    o Lauryn will send us a link after the photo shoot for parents to purchase pictures. No upfront fees.

• UNIFORM BUNDLES

    o Many of the uniforms should be arriving on your doorsteps this week (12s will receive their next week). Cloud 9 will deliver backpacks to SIVA on Thursday.
